FACILITIES TECHNICIAN (PART-TIME)

ABOUT FLORENCE BAPTIST CHURCH

JOB SUMMARY
Facilities technicians provide support for both church-related and community events.   Technicians will ensure the facilities and grounds demonstrate excellence.
JOB DUTIES
  • Available to work evenings and weekends in addition to weekday hours.
  • Assist in event set-up and tear-down (tables, chairs, etc.). 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ensure the facility, equipment, vehicles, and grounds (at all campuses) are maintained with excellence, using regular and strategic preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Additional job duties may include but are not limited to: 

    • Facilities: pest control, maintenance, flooring, painting, cleaning and care, supplies, and other areas as needed
    • Grounds:  Lawn care and maintenance, landscaping, weed control, fertilization, and other areas as needed.
  • All other duties assigned by the Senior Director of Facilities, Executive Pastor of Operations, and/or Lead Pastor.

  • Give sacrificially to the ministry of Florence Baptist Church.
CONVICTIONAL EXPECTATIONS
  • Experience Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, following the teachings of Scripture and surrendering to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
  • I adhere to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message and agree with it as our guiding statement of faith.
